Year-over-year, capital invested increased by 196.5% and deal count increased by 18.2%. When compared to the previous month, capital invested, and deal count increased by 17.6% and 14.8%. Median deal size in the U.S. increased 345.5% year-over-year and when compared to the prior month, increased by 145.3%. This year-over-year increase shows that even though a similar number of deals are being completed, the median deal size has grown dramatically. The EV/EBITDA median is 10.0x, which is a slight decrease since May and a sign of stabilization compared to last year, which saw the EV/EBITDA median jump to as high as 21.0x. As we move into July and the start of the third quarter, these trends should start to stabilize as beginning of the year deal count slows.
